DESCRIPTION AND APPLICATION

Thanks to the revolutionary formula used for its construction, this material features excellent friction properties, minimum wear and optimum stability for use at high temperatures.

CHEMICAL/MATERIAL COMPOSITION
SWR is an asbestos free composite woven from finely carded yarns containing brass wire. Its a dense, tough
material which exhibits resistance to heat and compression under load.

TECHNICAL ADVANTAGES
Very low noise emission during perforation
(rotary and sliding) and movement.

Capacity to dissipate heat also beyond 250 °C, thereby preventing
cracking and hardening of the brake liner.
The result is better mechanical grip and life duration two or three
times longer than that of classic fabric brake linings or similar
products available on the market.

Greater braking coefficient, resulting in softer stop and fewer jerks.

No wear around the bolt, hence no play between brake liner and drum,
and consequently the usual vibrations are eliminated.

OVERALL ECONOMIC ADVANTAGES
Low noise emissions allow low cost sound proofing of the probe table and the possibility of having a small area depending on the noise emissions.

Longer life makes it possible to avoid one or two costly plant shutdowns necessary for replacing worn brake liners.

Reduced vibrations and greater mechanical grip make it possible to reduce band wear and avoid sudden kick back on the winch.

THE FOLLOWING OPTIONAL SERVICES MAY BE INCLUDED IN THE OFFER
– Direct replacement of brake liners on the band with band overhauling
– Disposal of worn brake liners
– Storage of brake liners or bands
– Treatment for asbestos
